Greetings Vikings! We are excited to bring you some thrilling news in this latest patch. We have heard your enthusiasm for the ships, and we are happy to announce that they have finally arrived. Now, you can obtain your very own ship, customize it, and proudly display it to your fellow clan members. But that's not all - there is much more to explore in this patch. Read on for more details, and let the adventure begin!

Clan Island

As you may have seen or heard, the Vikings have been sailing on a party boat for the past couple of weeks, but not without reason. They have made an extraordinary discovery - multiple small inhabited islands surrounding the main island. After discussions during the Thing, it was decided for fair distributions, that these islands would be shared among the clans and serve as their "homebase." Construction has already begun, and each island now has its own docks for clan members to moor their ships. The allocation of berths for each member has been left for the clans to decide, but it comes at a cost. The rest of the island is still under construction for now.

Ships

The islands are also equipped with tools that allow clan members to customize their ships as they wish, although they will need to collect their own resources. To aid with ship customization, it is has become mandatory for every clan island to have a master ship builder to ensure that each ship is built with quality. So head over to your clan island and talk to Marthǫfn to start creating and customizing your own ship!

The divide of Intro

We have observed that new Vikings who seek adventure often choose to start with "Open World". To enhance the user experience, we have decided to divide the Intro into two parts: Character Creation and Battle Tutorial. Character Creation will now take place within the Open World, allowing new players to immediately experience Valhalla. Once the character is created, players will be directed to the "Combat" tab to complete the Battle Tutorial. Once you have created your character and understand how to battle, you are free to explore Valhalla to your heart's content.

Minimap Update

To enhance consistency and reduce confusion, we've updated the minimap to rotate along with the player camera, just like the compass. Rest assured, the icons on the minimap will remain upright.

Help! - settings menu

Are you tired of getting stuck in holes? Are you sick of having to refresh the page? Well, so are we! Now, you can open the settings menu and find a new tab called "Help." This tab contains two buttons. The first button allows you to respawn your character at the nearest Obelisk if you accidentally exit the playing area or get your character stuck. If respawning doesn't solve your issue, there is another button that will take you back to the title screen of Valhalla, providing another opportunity to resolve your issue without having to refresh the page.

Icon changes

We are introducing a new icon to represent Runix Bank. Instead of using a Runix coin, which will now represent the currency itself, Runix Bank is symbolized by a treasure chest. Therefore, when converting Runic Dust at the blacksmith, the Blacksmith will return Runix, which will then be placed inside your Runix Pouch or Runix Bank when the pouch is full.

Bug fixes

• Flindorr doesn't freeze anymore when cornered.
• Clan challenges are now repeatable on Clan Day.
